XL Driving Tuition - Driving Lessons and Driving Courses
At XL Driving Tuition we appreciate that there are a wide range of driving skills and experience to be catered for, ranging from complete novices to people with many hours road experience, and even fully qualified drivers with international licenses that need to take a British driving test. To accomodate this, we offer a variety of driving lessons and courses, priding ourselves in tailoring teaching to individuals needs at highly competitive prices.
• Weekly driving lessons. 1½ or 2 hour driving lessons a week. Our driving school considers a 1 hour driving lesson inappropriate and not cost effective to the pupil. The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) states the average learner takes between 40 and 50 x 1 hour lessons with extra practice with a friend or relative to achieve test standard. If the pupil had longer lessons more aspects are covered, more time left after recapping next lesson and therefore less hours overall required. • Semi intensive driving course. Based on an assessment lesson and test date availability, this driving course will be tailor made for each individual. Usually 2 x 2 hour driving lessons a week over a period of weeks leading up to the driving test. We consider this to be the ideal way of learning as driving lessons are longer and therefore more aspects covered and as there are shorter gaps in between lessons less recapping is required. • Intensive driving course. Our driving school offers 1 week, fully intensive courses for suitable drivers. It will consist of a total of 30 hours in-car tuition with the instructor which will be a constant and ongoing assessment covering all key stages required. A mock test will be given at the end of the week. At XL Driving Tuition we are committed to our pupils and as such our first and overriding concern is safety. • Refresher driving lessons. Have you passed your driving test yet lacking in confidence? Our driving instructors are encouraging, friendly, patient and understanding. • Pass Plus. This Pass Plus course is for newly qualified drivers. With the knowledge and skills used to pass your driving test we will now apply them to situations which you may not have faced before. The course will last at least six hours and covers town driving, all weather driving, rural driving, night driving, dual carriageway driving and motorway driving. • Instructor training. If you are looking to train for a career as a Driving Instructor, then XL Driving Tuition has the course for you. You will be provided with all the training manuals necessary to pass the theoretical exam. You will be assessed on your driving ability within tailor made lessons to ensure you achieve the standard required to pass your driving test. And finally you will be taken through a series of role play exercises, which will enable you to demonstrate that you have the necessary teaching skills to be a Driving Instructor. XL Driving Tuition will pick you up and drop you offanywhere inNorwich and the surrounding areas. We are available Monday through to Sunday. We use Norwich Test Centre on Jupiter Road.
